RMP Spring Benefit Concert Tonight at Bare Hands Gallery!
Tonight—April 20! Come check out the Friends of Red Mountain Park Spring concert at the Bare Hands Gallery. Three bands on an outside stage, great local art inside, open bar...all for only $10 admission. Proceeds go to the Red Mountain Park Fund!
Date: Tonight, April 20th, 7-11 pm
Place: Bare Hands Gallery, (109 Richard Arrington Jr Blvd South, near the corner of 21st St and 1st Ave S)
With: Duquette Johnston, Jesse Payne, and India Ramey & Mark Gibson playing outside.
Inside will be Alabama artist Brian Edmonds' show "Songs for Harper Lee," landscape paintings on found wood.

JeffCo Commission Funding Remains Unresolved
The latest news is, unfortunately, no news. Though it is clear that all of our letters and emails have made a huge impression on individual commission members, the funding issue has yet to be scheduled for a vote. Just getting the proposal added to the finance committee agenda has proved a task in itself. Regardless, we will certainly let the list know when there is any progress and mostly would like to thank all of you who have invested so much time and energy in reminding the commission of their earlier promise.
